Custom Wedding Card

Hey Everyone,

Just chiming in with a custom made money-holder card for a friend who has a wedding to attend soon. I was told the couple's name and that they are of Indian heritage- and so I set to work.
Although Indian colours are generally a lot brighter and deeper, I decided to go with something a little softer. I still brought in some elements commonly found in Indian design by using gold and some scrolly florals.

So here is the card:

As you can see I made it a horizontal DL card. I heat embossed Altenew's Persian Motifs in gold and then lightly watercoloured the flowers using distress inks. I then die cut the names out of PTI's Headline Alphabet and adhered them on using a glue pen.

The inside features a blank card for my friend to write a message on, and then slide it into the money holder. I also stamped the entire inside of the money holder with various images form the Altenew set in Crisp Canteloupe ink

Hope you likey!
