Papertrey Ink- Make it Monday #106

Hi Everyone,

We are back form a lovely vacation in New Zealand, and I have just received my latest Papertrey Ink order :) It took every ounce of strength not to ink up those stamps the second they entered my house, but I managed to save the moment for later that night, when Miss 9months was alseep and hubby was at soccer and I had the house all to myself!
Needless to say I was in heaven!

OK- This week Papertrey Ink's Make it Monday video was about two toned flowers. Here's the video:

And here's my card!

The theme was two toned flowers, and I decided to use my new Stitches and Swirls stamp set. I also used the Counting my Blessings stamp set and die. Don't you love the look of that word popped up on coloured card?

To make the stamped part of the sentiment stand out, I stamped it onto some pink card which was cut into a banner. I also added three pink rhinestones to accent the end of the banner.

Here is a pic of the inside:

I think this would make a great Mother's day card :)

Hope you like it!

Stamps: Stitches and Swirls; Counting my Blessings (both PTI)
Ink: Malon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, Marina Mist, Lucky Limeade and Daffodil Delight (all Stampin up)
Cardstock: Very Vanilla (SU!), Peachy pink card, Olive card (Unknown :(..sorry)
Other: Rhinestones from portacraft

  1. Preeya, this turned out lovely. That's one of my favorite stamp sets. Looks as though it was actually hand stitched! Beautiful colors too!
I would have done the same thing you did, after a vacation was over, the family snuggled away, and a Papertey box calling to me!

  2. Very clever how you used this technique on Stitches and Swirls. Beautiful! - Irma

  3. Thank you Nancy and Irma :)
