Four Feathers Birthday Card
Hi Everyone,
Hope you are all going well in Blogland :)
I recently bought a few Stampin Up supplies- I loved their 'Four Feathers' set. And when I saw the stamps, it made me think of this card by Jean Martin. yes. I know. Swoon…..
So here is the card i made, and I'm going to be sending it to a lovely crafty friend for her birthday.

Here is a closer look at the dots. The confetti (Birthday Style PTI) is stamped in Crisp Canteloupe. And the larger dots were stamped and heat embossed in Liquid Platinum Embossing Powder from ranger.
These feathers were stamped and heat embossed on vellum, and then cut out using the coordinating Four Feathers dies. I am so happy with this little set of beauties!
Hope you likey!

Hope you all are well- today I am participating in a challenge that I have never done before- the Mama Elephant and me challenge!
So without further a do, here is my card!
I inked up my new Summer Garden Stamp set from ME and SSS, and stamped the flower images in Hero Hues black ink (which is waterproof). I did the same with the sentiment (from SSS). I then used some of my ink pads and an aqua brush to add a watercolour wash over the flowers.
I added a few flicks of colour with the brush, added a few clear sequins and adhered the card panel onto a black card base, and that was my card all done!
hope you likey!

Make it Monday #174- Diamond Stamped Wallpaper- take two!
Hi everyone,
As promised, here is my second card for this challenge- Using the 'Happy Harlequin' Stamp set from PTI. It is just perfect to create a diamond stamped wallpaper….Probably because the set contains DIAMOND shapes in various patterns (duh).
This card is slightly different to my usual style- I almost always base my card on a white front panel and then work from there. It is heavily inspired by one of the PTI design team members…can you guess which one?
If you, like me, are a PTI fan- it won't take to long to dawn on you… (*cough*).
Alright, enough of that. Lets have a look see:
As it is not my usual style, it took me a while to like it. But as I added the sentiment strip and the gems, it grew on me, and I really like it now. Very inspired to try this card out using other colour combinations.
Hope you likey!
Pree.

Make it Monday- Diamond Wallpaper Stamping
Hi Everyone!
I am participating in the latest Make-it-Monday Challenge over on Nichole Heady's blog. This week Ashley Cannon newell shared a diamond stamped wallpaper. Now, I don't know why I forgot that I own the Happy Harlequin stamp set (which is pretty much made for this technique!) but I did. And so I had to be creative and try and come up with a stamp that I could use to create this design. So I went with that little row of teardrops in the 'Happiness in Bloom' set (which is one of my all time favourite floral sets). So here is my card :)
I was pretty happy with the way this little number turned out- What do you think? I may get some time tonight to have a play with my Happy Harlequin set and I'll probably create another card for this challenge a little later on. Thanks for stopping by!
