Papertrey Ink Favourites Challenge Card No 3

OK and the next one is a super simple and very elegant couple of cards inspired by Maile Belle's gorgeous card seen here, again in the top left:

Here is my take on it!:

I added some vellum punch outs instead of buttons to it and I am super happy with the way it looks. Do you like it?

Papertrey Ink Favourites Competition Card 2

Here are some more of my cards inspired by the DTs favourites.
First up is another chalkboard technique one, inspired by Betsy Veldman. You can see her version here. Its the top left pic:

Here I used embossing powder and pigment white ink to create a chalkboard effect...and then to go a little '80's street art' on it, I added some colour with markers! Hope you like it!

Papertrey Ink Anniversary Challenge that didn't make it

Sigh! So it was another busy crazy day in the Stanley household, and I only got to make some cards late in the day. I had to have my cards in by 11pm...and...I didn;t make it.
Oh well, I'll still show you what I did.
Nichole Heady at PTI invited us to create a card using the Watercolour technique, in which you stamp, and then go back with the same coloured ink on a paintbrush and 'water' it down a bit. You end up with an artistic looking watercoloury effect.
Here is one of the cards I did:

Hope you liked it. I'm off to bed now

Supplies:
Cardstock: Some random Olive card I had, Watercolour paper
Stamps: Rosie Posie and Beautiful Butterflies (sentiment) buth PTI
Ink: Certainly Celery (SU!) and something else for the roses I'll add it in later.

Papertrey Ink Favourites Challenge- Card 1

Ok, so I'm doing this in the wrong order, but here is my entry for Papertrey Inks first competition. The winner gets... wait for it... $300 worth of PTI product! Be still my beating heart!
Here is a card I made based on Betsy Veldman's chalkboard art tutorial. I hope you all like it.
Hello Everyone,

I am entering my first competition- it's Papertrey Ink's 6th Anniversary, and today they're giving away a personalised stamp set. So! Without further ado, here is my entry.
Now, I apologise for the schoooockkingggg lighting, but I am doing this at night.... in a rush! It's gotta be in by 11pm Sydney time, and i started making the card at 10:10pm...
But here it is...i'm really quite happy with its simplicity and cheerfulness :)

The sentiment frame is a freebie designed by Nichole Heady that we had to incorporate into our design.

Fingers crossed!
